The YMCA has partnered with the African American Research Library & Cultural Center (AARLCC) to bring awareness to reading, literacy, water safety, and drowning prevention. We encourage parents to bring their children to participate in this all-day literary event – starting with the Conference at AARLCC with the authors, followed by a pool party, press conference, and book signing by Johnnie Christmas at the YMCA.
